Sentinel Storage auctions in Red Deer typically take one of two forms, an onsite live auction with a licensed auctioneer or a sealed bid auction. How Does a Sealed Bid Self Storage Auction Work?

When we conduct a storage auction through a sealed bid process, we take photos of the locker from the door (entry is not permitted) and place them in a binder in our office. We advertise the sale through the Red Deer Advocate, Kijiji and forward details of the sale via our email notification list. Bidders are welcome to place their bid in a sealed envelope at our office or send official bidder forms by email (contact us for more information). After the auction is closed, the bids are opened and the highest bidder is awarded the goods contained within that storage container (sold as is, where is).

What You Need to Know about Sentinel Red Deer Auctions

Regardless of whether our Red Deer storage unit auction is conducted by an auctioneer or by sealed bid, the rules are the same:

• Our mini storage auctions are open to the general public
• Successful bidders have 24-48 hours to remove all contents of the purchased locker; if the items are to stay longer, the unit may be rented from Sentinel Storage
• Payments may be made by cash, credit card, debit or certified cheque
• Auctioneer may require bidder’s fee (if applicable)
• Auction times and dates are subject to change. Please check back on the day of the auction to verify.
