Building community through curling

Sentinel Storage is a proud sponsor of the 2024 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts

Sentinel Storage has always been proud of its association with curling. After all, it’s a sport that has deep roots in communities. In fact, in many towns, the curling rink is more than a sporting centre. It’s a gathering place where everyone is welcome and different generations mingle and play together.  

That type of connection makes communities stronger. So, it’s a natural fit for Sentinel Storage to want to support the game in Alberta and Canada. 

So, when it came time to sponsor the 2024 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts in St. Paul, we didn’t hesitate. The sponsorship follows our successful partnership with Curling Alberta at the 2023 Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts playdowns in Wetaskiwin. That proved to be an exciting week of competition that ended with Calgary’s Kayla Skrlik winning her first provincial title. 

We can’t wait to see how things shake out this year at the event, which is currently underway at the Clancy Richard Arena in St. Paul. 

As always, the winner of the playdowns will go on to represent Alberta at the national championships, the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which is taking place in Calgary from February 16-25.
